The castle is located 25 km west of Yenokavan village, in an alpine meadow zone, on the left bank of the Sarnajur tributary of the Aghst River. It is semicircular, the walls are up to 3 m thick. The south-eastern entrance of the fortress has been preserved, with 10-12 m long walls lined on both sides, creating a corridor up to 10 m long to strengthen the entrance.
