Akhnabat Kenyan Park Sanctuary
When walking here, a person begins to feel calm and happy. Due to the beauty of nature, your thoughts will become clear and you will be able to fully enjoy all the beauty around you. Keno Park is one of the best places for walking in the fresh air in Tavush region.
It was formed in 1959, near Aghavnavank village, next to Akhnabat church. It was created to preserve the unique park of the remaining berry kennel. Here grow 25 m high, 300-400 year old beech trees with a diameter of 70-90 cm. Kenny reproduces naturally from seeds. Kenny was known to mankind as far back as 3000 years ago, when sarcophagi were made from it, due to the fact that it does not rot in the water of Keno natural wood, it is resistant to fungi and insects. Later, they started making military tools, household items, and later furniture.
