The destiny forced them leave the western part of historical Armenia and move to Eastern Armenia, settling in the village of Yenokavan. They brought with them wine-making traditions to pass on to the next generations. Based on those traditions, Berkri Wine company was established in 2018. Now the company offers 3 varieties of wine. “Spitak anapak” (white dry) is made from the “Kangun” grape variety, “Kamir anapak” (red dry) and “Kamir anapak” reserve are made from the “Karmrahyut” and “Tigran” varieties.
