Why choose Davtyan’s gastroyard?
Davtyan’s gastroyard is a welcoming stop on the way to Makaravank, one of the famous Armenian historical and cultural monuments. They offer to get away from the noise, enjoy the beauty of nature and definitely taste the variety of white and red wine made from Tavush grapes.
Those who want to understand the “language” of the wine are offered to see and bottle the wine made with their own hands, to learn about its history.
What is the background of Davtyan’s wine story?
The Davtyan’s history of winemaking has more than one century long history. Back then, Ruben and Aramais Davtyan, father and son from Achajur, were making wine, using only Tavush grapes grown by their own hands. It was the desire to continue that legend and traditions that led to establishing the Davtian Wine Yard in 2018 with the support of the United Nations Organization.
One pinch of sweetness?
