Aghavnavank
Up to 1988 the village was inhabited by Azerbaijanis and called Salah. Later they resattled here our deported compatriots from Azerbaijanis. There are reliable historical data that till the Mongol-Tatar invasions this area has been inhabited by armenian, which is evidence of the medieval church, crosses and other buildings. Here in12th century built church St. Mary ancillary structures. It's also served as hermitage. The church has also 2nd floor called Akhnabath or Hakhnabath. In this connected one popular legend. According to this there were one beautiful girl named Nabath whom hopelessly in loved one of armenaian prince built church to commemorate her love and commit suicide. The last minute he call " oh Nabath".
The village is located in New Getik coast and has very favorable conditions for tourism.

Dilijan

Urban settlement in Tavush marz. In past Dilijan comprised in Ghazakh province of the state of Elizavetpol. In different times was called Dili, Delizhan, Tilitchan and now Dilijan. Dilijan became an urban settlement since 1938. The town is in the coast of Aghstev river between Pambak and Halab chains of mountain. In territory of Dilijan hs been opened ancient settlements. in 19th and 20th centuries Dilijan was populated with Armenians in region (Hin tagh) and Russians in region ( Nor tagh ) , now there live Armenians and some Molakanians ( sectarian Russians ). Dilijan is bested with thick forests. Through the Dilijan flows the river Aghstev with its Diljan and Baldan affluent . Here in Diljan was created one of the conservancy areas in Armenia – Dilijan national park. Dilijan is rich with its mineral and medical water. In neighborhood with Dilijan are Parz lake and Jukhtak monastery.

Gosh

Gosh has been founded in 1840-1845s. Fisrt livers were movers from Dostlu and Koti villages ( Noyemberian region) As an old settlement is mentioned since 10-11cc. In 1178 has been built the monastery complex of Gosh. It has been built by Mkhitar Gosh with support of prince Ivane Zakarian. Goshavak has been one of spiritual and cultural centers of Armenia where has been created and saved many valuable manuscripts. Here has studied and worked Vanakan vardapet and Kirakos Gandzakeci. Goshavank has been and stays as one of masterpieces of World historic-cultural monuments.

Hovk
Till Arm-Azeri opposition this settlement was populated with Azerbaijanis. Then it was repopulated with Armenians from Azerbaijan. In past was called Haghkghlu, Vurghun.

Khacharjan
Khachardzan until interethnic fights was called Polad and populated with Azerbaijanis. In 1989 the settlement was populated with immigrant Armenians from Shahumyan region (Republic of Azerbaijan) and called Khachardzan. The settlement has the best climate and geographic conditions for development of ecotourism.

The village was called Jarkhej in past, was founded by comers from Achajur in 1815. Like North-East other settlements Jarkhej had 19 houses too and in 19th century become a part of Russian Empire.During Soviet years was called Kuybishev and since 1990s-Haghartsin. During interethnic fights there were 5 men dead from Haghartsin village.

The village was founded in 1925. At first it was one of the parts of Jarkhech village. Then as a separate village was named Haghartsin then Teghut. There are Haghartsin and Jukhtak monasteries a little away from the village which are best examples of armenian architecture.
